ABeam Consulting completes engagement with Players Trust

ABeam Consulting, a Tokyo-headquartered management consulting firm, has completed a strategic engagement with Players Trust, the charitable arm of the Major League Baseball Players Association.

The consulting project, which took place between May 12 and August 15, focuses on assessing and recommending technology options for streamlining event, donation, campaign, and donor management systems, as well as improving financial reporting.

The consultancy – which has approximately 9,000 professionals globally – delivered process flow diagrams, a system requirements list, and prioritized vendor recommendations.

ABeam says its consultants identified constraints in campaign design and event workflows and provided clear roadmaps to select and implement new systems to improve operations and strengthen donor engagement.

“The Players Trust and ABeam US share a common goal – empowering people to make a difference in their communities,” said David Quilici, principal of ABeam Consulting USA. “That synergy made this partnership especially impactful.”

Founded in 1996, Players Trust delivers charitable programs and resources such as donation matching, grants, and educational programs.

ABeam was founded in 1981 as a consulting division of Deloitte in Japan. The firm spun off from Deloitte in 2003 and joined Japanese technology firm NEC Corporation in 2004.
