Superstep Capital invests in Tru Consulting
Superstep Capital, a technology services-focused private equity firm, has made a strategic growth investment in Tru Consulting, a Denver-based IT consultancy focusing on Anaplan implementations.
Founded in 2019, Tru Consulting specializes in helping higher education and public sector clients implement Anaplan, a business planning cloud platform. Anaplan’s scenario planning and analysis platform helps organization optimize their finance, supply chain, and sales strategies.
Tru Consulting has approximately 50 employees, according to LinkedIn, and was named the 2024 Anaplan partner of the year for the Americas. The firm has completed 150+ Anaplan projects for clients such as the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, University of Notre Dame, and University of Southern California.
Superstep’s investment will help Tru Consulting accelerate growth, headcount, service delivery, and innovation efforts.

Superstep was founded in 2022 and focuses on North American technology services companies. The firm targets control buyouts of companies with $10 million to $40 million in revenue and a healthy EBITDA margin.
Superstep currently has three portfolio companies: data engineering firm OneSix and B2B commerce specialists Zaelab and CQL.
