Baker Tilly appoints Monica Modi Dalwadi as managing principal for Eastern US

Baker Tilly US has appointed Monica Modi Dalwadi as managing principal for the Eastern US. She is based in Washington, DC.
Modi Dalwadi, who has been at Baker Tilly for 20 years, will oversee operations and growth initiatives across the markets of Washington, DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, and New England.
She succeeds Fred Massanova, who was promoted to chief growth officer.
Modi Dalwadi most recently served as managing principal for the metro DC market. She has extensive experience in internal auditing, risk assessment, fraud and forensics reviews, and strategic consulting on a wide range of business issues. Modi Dalwadi has supported numerous clients in higher education and not-for-profit.
Before joining Baker Tilly in 2004, Modi Dalwadi was a senior at Dixon Hughes.
She has an MBA from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Frank Walker, leader of the US transaction and financial advisory practice, will succeed Modi Dalwadi in her prior role as DC market head.
Baker Tilly earlier this month announced its intention to acquire accounting firms Hancock Askew and CironeFriedberg.
