Westwood expands into Louisiana with acquisition of CSRS

Westwood Professional Services, a Plano, TX-headquartered design and engineering consulting firm, has acquired CSRS, a Baton Rouge, LA-based development advisory and program management consulting firm.
The acquisition will expand Westwood’s physical presence into Louisiana, where CSRS has four offices, as well as add two locations in Texas and one in Southern California.
Founded in 1978, CSRS has 440 employees listed on LinkedIn.
The CSRS team, which will operate as “CSRS, a Westwood company,” brings complementary capabilities in public infrastructure and land development.
The deal marks Westwood’s entry into comprehensive program management and adds new services such as grants management, owner’s representation, and governmental advisory.
"CSRS aligns well with Westwood's values and culture, and their exceptional team will add tremendous value to our company," said Bryan Powell, CEO of Westwood. "We are excited about the positive impacts this acquisition will bring to our people and clients."
Westwood was founded in 1972 and has more than 1,400 employees listed on LinkedIn. The firm provides design, engineering, environmental, and construction management services for projects in power, renewables, land, and public infrastructure.
“We are thrilled to join the Westwood team," said Tim Barfield, president of CSRS. "This acquisition will allow us to provide more services to our clients, more opportunities for our people, and it accelerates our ability to scale and succeed as an organization."
