FTI hires Elizabeth Goodman as senior managing director in communications segment
FTI Consulting, a Washington, DC-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Elizabeth Goodman, DrPH, as a senior managing director in the healthcare and life sciences practice within its strategic communications segment.
Goodman brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, and health law and policy. She has extensive expertise in regulatory and operational challenges related to Medicaid, Medicare, and long-term services.
In her new role at FTI, Goodman will advise healthcare payers and providers on brand equity, managing stakeholder relationships, minimizing regulatory pressure, and mitigating financial and reputational risks.
She was previously chief legal and public affairs officer at Commonwealth Care Alliance, EVP for government affairs and innovation at America’s Health Insurance Plans, and chief of long-term services and supports at MassHealth.
Goodman has a bachelor’s degree in political science and religion from Trinity College, a master’s degree in social work from University of Maryland, a juris doctor in health law from University of Maryland, and a doctor of public health degree from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She is currently an adjunct professor for health policy and management at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

FTI earlier this year welcomed Isabella More as a managing director in its crisis and litigation communications practice within its strategic communications segment.
