AlixPartners names Franklin Grosvenor as partner and managing director in M&A practice

AlixPartners, a New York-based management consulting firm, has appointed Franklin Grosvenor as a partner and managing director in its M&A practice in Seattle.

Grosvenor has 20+ years of leadership experience in the technology industry, with expertise across operations, corporate development, M&A, and sales.

He has extensive experience in operations, transactions, and integration projects across networking, application software, tech services, data center infrastructure, and cloud computing.

Grosvenor has been a senior advisor at AlixPartners for the last eight months. Before that, he spent five years with Amazon Web Services, where he was head of worldwide sales productivity programs. He also led the strategy and operations function within the enterprise and industry verticals business development organization.

Before that, he spent six years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he was VP of M&A and led the successful separation of HP Inc. from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, as well as subsequent spin-merge transactions.

Earlier in his career, Grosvenor was VP of sales at SAP, senior director of manufacturing at Cisco Systems, and a senior manager in the strategic services practice of Accenture.

“Franklin’s rare combination of technology sector expertise, operational leadership, and M&A execution experience makes him an invaluable addition to our leadership team,” said Andy He, Americas lead of M&A and transaction advisory.

Grosvenor added, “This is an incredible opportunity to build on the firm’s strong foundation and help drive innovation, growth, and value for our clients.”

AlixPartners recently promoted Dan Hearsch to global co-leader of its automotive and industrial practice.
