MorganFranklin Cyber acquires Lynx Technology Partners

MorganFranklin Cyber, a Charlotte, NC-based cybersecurity consulting and managed services firm, has acquired Lynx Technology Partners, a Cincinnati-based provider of cybersecurity and risk management services.

Founded in 2009, Lynx has 23 people listed on LinkedIn. The firm has offerings in governance, risk, and compliance-as-a-service (GRCaaS); third-party risk management-as-a-service (TPRMaaS); and risk operations center-as-a-service (ROC).

Aric Perminter, Lynx’s founder and chairman, will join MorganFranklin as managing director for client relations. He will report to chief revenue officer Ferdinand Hamada.

Perminter brings more than 25 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity. Prior to founding Lynx, he held senior leadership roles at Lumension Security and Precise Technologies Group.

Private equity firm MC Partners earlier this year acquired MorganFranklin Cyber from Vaco (now Highspring), a Nashville-based HR and management consulting firm.

MorganFranklin recently hired Jerome Farquharson as managing director and head of the energy and oil & gas sectors.
