CIL opens second US location with New York office

CIL, a London-based strategy and due diligence consulting firm, has opened its second US office with the launch of a New York location.

The office, which officially opened earlier this month, builds on seven years of growth since CIL entered the US market with a Chicago location in 2018.

The UK firm says its North American team is approaching 50 employees and has registered a five-year CAGR of approximately 50%.

The New York office will be led by Luke Rowell, a London-based partner in the firm’s media practice. Powell, who has been with CIL since 2013, will oversee an initial team of 10 consultants focusing on the media sector.

“New York is a natural next step for CIL. We already work closely with clients in the area, and having a permanent base here allows us to deepen those relationships and be even more present locally,” Rowell said.

CIL was founded in 1986 and provides clients in a range of industries with services in business planning, growth strategy, market entry, due diligence, and data and analytics. The firm has over 300 employees listed on LinkedIn and offices in the UK, France, Germany, and the US.
