RSM launches ‘Ask Luca’ AI tool to support auditors

RSM US has launched “Ask Luca,” a generative AI tool that will provide real-time support to its audit professionals.

Ask Luca will support RSM’s 4,000+ audit professionals with real-time guidance sourced from RSM assurance manuals, practice aids, and technical accounting guides.

As the audit busy season approaches, the mid-market accountancy says Ask Luca will helps its auditors reduce research time by providing vetted insights within seconds.

The tool is situated within RSM Luca, the firm’s digital audit platform.

RSM in June 2025 announced a $1 billion investment over three years to scale its AI strategy.

The firm says generative AI tools will help its auditors more quickly analyze data and complete required audit procedures; match source documents to support data and reach conclusions faster; and enable intelligent visualizations of journal entries to detect anomalies.
