Aprio acquires Philadelphia area accountancy Isdaner & Company
Aprio, an Atlanta-headquartered accounting and consulting firm, has acquired Isdaner & Company, a Bala Cynwyd, PA-based accounting and consulting firm, effective June 1.
Founded in 1967, Isdaner & Company provides a full suite of accounting, audit, tax, estate and trust, business consulting, and litigation support services to clients across the Delaware Valley. The firm has deep experience working with real estate, manufacturing, nonprofit, family offices, and high-net-worth clientele.
Isdaner & Company has a team of more than 70 professionals, including 11 partners.
Aprio’s acquisition of Isdaner & Company expands the firm’s presence in the greater Philadelphia market.
“Client needs are growing more complex, and they deserve advisors who evolve with them,” said Richard Kopelman, CEO of Aprio. “We are building something different in Philadelphia, a firm where every client has trusted advisors who anticipate the challenges ahead, and who show up as true growth partners through every stage of the journey.”
Aprio is the 20th-largest accountancy in the United States, with more than 3,200 people and 40+ offices nationwide. The firm received a significant investment from Charlesbank, a mid-market private equity firm, in 2024.
“Aprio expands what we can bring to every client,” said Scott Isdaner, managing partner of Isdaner & Company. “Whether they are growing, planning a transition, or thinking about the next generation, they now have access to a platform built for what they need.”
The Isdaner & Company deal follows the recent bolt-on acquisitions of Price Kong in Phoenix and CAVU Advisors in Columbia, MD.
