J.S. Held hires Jessica Larson as SVP of digital transformation
J.S. Held, a Jericho, NY-based technical and forensic advisory firm, has hired Jessica Larson as senior vice president of digital transformation.
Based in Indianapolis, Larson will in the newly created role oversee the unification and acceleration of J.S. Held’s digital transformation initiatives.
Reporting to CEO Lee Spirer, Larson will work with practice leaders to scale high-impact use cases that allow clients to benefit from digital technologies. Her mandate includes increasing adoption of advanced technology solutions, establishing firm-wide governance for their use, and ensuring these capabilities are deployed responsibly and securely.
“As we expand the use of digital solutions, Jessica brings a clear understanding of the importance of safeguarding trade secrets, maintaining strong data security, and upholding client confidentiality at every step,” said James Malackowski, chief intellectual property officer at J.S. Held.
Larson brings nearly 20 years of experience leading enterprise transformation and technology driven innovation across large companies. She joins J.S. Held from TRC Companies, which was acquired by WSP in February. Larson spent seven years with the design and engineering firm, serving as SVP for digital and data transformation and designing enterprise-wide frameworks, launching a cloud-based AI platform, and leading the AI strategy and governance council.
Before that, Larson spent eight years at Deloitte, where she was a senior manager and chief of staff – helping launch the analytics service line within the strategy and operations practice. Earlier in her career, Larson spent four years at Navigant (now Guidehouse), where she was a managing consultant.
She has a bachelor’s degree in business from Wake Forest University.
“Jessica’s leadership will help us systematically integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities such as machine learning, natural language processing, and intelligence automation across our practices in a disciplined way. By scaling these capabilities enterprise-wide, with strong alignment and oversight, we can accelerate insights, enhance service delivery, and drive sustainable growth, all while maintaining the trust, security, and quality that define our firm,” Spirer said.
J.S. Held has 1,500+ people across five continents providing services in technical and scientific advisory, strategic advisory, digital and data, financial investigations, valuation, and risk.
By further integrating technologies into our day-to-day work, we can free our professionals to focus on high-value activities and deliver even greater results for clients,” Larson said. “I look forward to partnering across the firm to drive innovation that enhances client outcomes while upholding the highest standards of quality, security, and confidentiality.”
The firm recently launched “J.S. Held AI Disputes Monitor,” a dashboard resource that helps legal professionals track and analyze AI litigation.
