Bounteous buys TMT consultancy Cartesian
Bounteous, a Frisco, TX-headquartered digital consulting firm, has acquired Cartesian, a London-headquartered consulting firm focusing on the telecom, media, and technology (TMT) sector.
Founded in 1990, Cartesian works with TMT clients primarily in North America and EMEA. The firm has 350+ employees listed on LinkedIn and offices in London, Paris, New York, and Boston.
Cartesian has practices in data science and analytics, content security, management consulting, strategy consulting, technical services, and technology solutions.
Bounteous in a press release said the acquisition will strengthen its presence in North America and Europe and enhance its capabilities in data, analytics, and AI.
“Cartesian has spent decades helping telecommunications and technology companies turn complex data into decisions that actually move their business. That is exactly what our clients are asking for right now,” said Sudarshan Mandayam, CEO of Bounteous.
Bounteous was founded in 2003 and was acquired by private equity firm New Mountain Capital in 2021. It was merged with digital consultancy Accolite in 2024. Bounteous today has 5,000+ professionals across offices in North America, Europe, India, and Singapore.
The firm has practices in product engineering, experience transformation, business platforms, and agentic AI. Its technology partners include AWS, Google, Salesforce, and Databricks.
“Joining Bounteous means our clients now have a partner that can take their data foundations all the way through AI execution and enterprise-scale delivery,” said Jim Serafin, CEO of Cartesian.
