Guidehouse appoints Mishelle Pedenko as health growth leader

Guidehouse, a McLean, VA-headquartered management consulting firm, has appointed Mishelle Pedenko as health growth leader.

Based in Chicago, Pedenko will lead growth efforts across the firm’s health segment, including provider, payer, federal health, and life sciences practices. She will partner with commercial and federal leaders across advisory, technology, and managed services to bring integrated solutions to market, the consultancy said in a LinkedIn post announcing the hiring.

Pedenko has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare strategy, transformation, operations, revenue cycle, and managed services.

She joined Guidehouse in December as a partner. Pedenko previously spent 14 years with Accenture, where she was a managing director and health provider business lead for the US Midwest. Earlier in her career, Pedenko spent five years with R1 RCM, where she was senior operations lead for health providers.

She has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.

Guidehouse provides consulting, technology, and managed services to public sector and commercial clients in heavily regulated sectors. The firm has approximately 18,000 people across 50+ offices globally.

Guidehouse is a portfolio company of Bain Capital, which acquired it in 2023. The major legacy firms comprising Guidehouse include PwC Public Sector and Navigant.
