BRG adds Marc Metrick as managing director in corporate finance

BRG, a Washington, DC-based management consulting firm, has hired Marc Metrick as a managing director in its corporate finance practice in New York.

Metrick brings more than 30 years of operational, transformational, and financial experience, with deep expertise in retail and consumer. He spent most of his career at retailer Saks Global/Saks Fifth Avenue, most recently serving as chief executive officer.

Metrick was CEO of Saks Global (Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Off 5th) from its creation in 2024 until its filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy in January 2026. Before that, he held several leadership roles at Saks Fifth Avenue, including CEO, president, chief strategy officer, and SVP for merchandise planning.

Metrick has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Boston University.

“Marc is an incredible addition to the Corporate Finance team. He brings a broad array of operating experience at the highest levels of industry. Given his prior experience, he understands the opportunities and challenges our clients face. We are excited about the perspective he brings to BRG,” said Bob Duffy, a managing director and head of BRG’s corporate finance practice.

BRG says that its corporate finance practice had its strongest year ever in 2025, and the firm plans to continue expanding talent and service offerings to meet growing client demand.

BRG has 1,600+ employees across 40+ global offices providing expert and consulting services in disputes and investigations, corporate finance, and performance improvement. The firm recently welcomed Sohan Dasgupta, PhD, as a managing director in its global trade and compliance practice.
