FTI Consulting has announced the launch of new services for its RelativityOne Data Migration product, which is offered by FTI Technology, the firm’s technology segment. RelativityOne Data Migration Services is aimed at law firms, corporations, and government agencies, assisting them as they plan and manage data transfer from other e-discovery applications to the RelativityOne platform.

“Data migration requires a combination of expertise and technical capability and can be challenging for even the most sophisticated teams,” Daryl Teshima, a senior managing director of FTI’s technology arm, said. “Our new data migration services are designed to help clients achieve a streamlined and accelerated move to RelativityOne and navigate any number of unexpected issues that may arise. Our team brings a breadth of technical experience across e-discovery, Relativity and data-related challenges to this offering, providing our clients with the guidance and support they need to migrate everything in a timely and cost-effective manner.”

FTI Consulting launches new data migration services

RelativityOne is a cloud-based software-as-a-service product. While cloud-based platforms are increasingly seen as more secure, efficient, and flexible than on-premise platforms, the process of migrating what is typically a great deal of data can prove complicated and time-consuming. By leveraging FTI’s RelativityOne Data Migration, companies will have access to a full range of migration-related tools, including migration planning; data and workspace migration; application and script transfer; post-migration evaluations; file exception identification and remediation; and multiplatform migration. These tools will allow them to quickly and easily move all necessary data and information to the cloud.

“RelativityOne Certified Partners provide a variety of e-discovery services, including meaningful solutions for customers looking to transfer their data to RelativityOne,” James Zinn, director of business transformation services at Relativity, said. “As a RelativityOne Silver Partner, FTI Technology has met additional criteria for experience, innovation and staff training. Along with a track record of executing a range of successful Relativity projects, their team has demonstrated strong practices for RelativityOne migration, as well as the technical acumen required to implement enhanced offerings, workflows and technologies custom-built for client needs.”

FTI Consulting employs more than 4,700 people in 28 countries. It specializes in assisting companies in managing change and risk, as well as dispute resolution in a broad swath of areas, including legal, reputational, and political. The firm reported revenue of more than $2 billion in 2018.
