Crowe launches healthcare industry network 'Crowe Hive'
Accounting and consulting firm Crowe LLP has launched a platform to engage and connect healthcare professionals. Crowe Hive is a social network for healthcare professionals across all functions of the industry – from revenue cycle to finance to internal audit.
"The Crowe Hive is an exclusive and secure social network that gives healthcare executives across the country access to their industry peers to solve critical issues and brainstorm ideas in a way that general social networks weren't set up to do," said Andrew Holloway, managing director at Crowe. "It's an everyday tool that healthcare professionals can use to effectively share successes and collaborate on challenges in a truly unique environment."
Crowe says Hive offers resources and opportunities that other social networks lack, including custom groups and forums tailored to specific roles; access to exclusive insights, events, and polls; and opportunities to discuss and solve challenges with peers.
“The Crowe Hive network empowers our clients to tap into the strength of a peer-led, active and exclusive community,” Holloway said. “Crowe Hive is an efficient channel to obtain information digitally in a professional, trusted community for healthcare professionals from a variety of specialized areas within the industry.”
Crowe conducted a successful pilot of the platform at the Crowe Healthcare Summit in September 2019 with more than 400 participants. The platform is an outgrowth of the Healthcare Summit, which provides a peer-focused learning opportunity for healthcare providers. Attendees can gain insight on issues and trends, engage with industry leaders and peers, and earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits.
The Crowe Hive network is open to Crowe healthcare clients, including those in not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare systems, regional and academic medical centers, large physician practices, and more.
Crowe is headquartered in Chicago and provides audit, tax, and consulting services to the private and public sector. It is part of the Crowe Global network, which has 200 member firms across more than 130 countries.
