Sales consultancy Winning by Design acquires Early Revenue

Winning by Design, a Silicon Valley-based sales consulting and training firm, has acquired Early Revenue, a St. Louis-based sales strategy consulting and coaching firm.

Early Revenue’s founder – John Grispon – will join Winning by Design (WBD) as a managing director after running his boutique firm for the last four years.

Grispon brings deep expertise in helping recurring revenue teams drive sustainable growth. He specializes in developing go-to-market strategies for sales and prospecting, using data and science-based methods to optimize sales teams, and leveraging proven frameworks for sustainable growth.

Over the last 20 years, Grispon has been a part of two successful exits, a fintech IPO, and a digital health startup he cofounded. He also previously managed a $150-million banking industry vertical for Microsoft.

Grispon is currently a mentor with Stadia Ventures, R3 Ventures, and Founder Institute.Sales consultancy Winning by Design acquires Early RevenueWBD also announced the hiring of Pablo Grodnitzky as a managing director in its Silicon Valley headquarters. In his new role, Grodnitzky will focus on supporting clients with SaaS strategy, sales process, demand generation, customer success, and account-based marketing.

He brings 13 years of pre-revenue-to-$100-million startup experience and 15 years of large company senior sales leadership experience. Grodnitzky was previously SVP of sales at Decision Counsel, SVP & GM of the AI and machine learning division of Appen, and North American SaaS sales leader for IBM’s communications vertical.

“Grispon and Grodnitzky look forward to helping SaaS sales, customer success, and other B2B sales organizations by providing strategy consulting and sales coaching services,” said a statement from WBD.

WBD was founded in 2012 and focuses on helping clients build and scale their revenue organizations. The firm has particular expertise in enabling sales and marketing teams to succeed with remote selling. WBD also provides services in benchmarking, design, training, coaching, and implementation.

The firm has more than 90 employees across locations in the US, Canada, Brazil, Netherlands, China, and Australia.
