Atwell Group buys Florida-based Waldrop Engineering
Atwell Group, a national design and engineering consultancy, has acquired Waldrop Engineering, a Bonita Springs, FL-based land development consulting firm.
Founded in 2000, Waldrop provides land development services in planning, landscape architecture, and civil engineering. The firm has completed hundreds of projects in Florida and the US Southeast, including master planned residential communities, golf courses and resorts, parks, commercial and industrial developments, and infrastructure systems.
Waldrop has more than 100 employees across offices in Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, Sarasota, Tampa, and Orlando, FL as well as a recently opened office in Asheville, NC.
Atwell’s acquisition of Waldrop will strengthen its land development capability and expand its presence in Florida. The firm – which has over 950 professionals across the country – has Florida offices in West Palm Beach, Sarasota, and Orlando.
