Veritas Capital acquires Trinity Consultants
Veritas Capital, a New York-based private equity firm, has agreed to acquire a majority of Trinity Consultants, a Dallas-based environmental consulting firm.
Oak Hill Capital, which acquired Trinity in 2021, will remain a minority shareholder.
The deal, for which financial terms were not disclosed, is slated to complete in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Paul Greywall, CEO of Trinity, will alongside his management team continue to lead the company through its next phase of growth.
“We believe that, together, we can further expand our capabilities, invest in our people and technology, and help our clients address increasingly complex challenges across the natural and built environment,” said Greywall.
Trinity was founded in 1974 and has over 2,000 global professionals delivering environmental health and safety (EHS), engineering, and scientific-focused consulting, technology, training, and staffing services. The firm works with clients in the industrial, energy, manufacturing, mining, life sciences, and commercial/institutional sectors.
“We look forward to working with Paul and the Trinity team to support the execution of its strategy to drive account growth, accelerate investment in technology, and expand capabilities through acquisitions,” said Daniel Sugar, partner and co-head of flagship private equity at Veritas Capital.
Veritas has over $54 billion of assets under management and focuses on companies at the intersection of technology and government.
The firm in 2023 sold Guidehouse to Bain Capital for $5.3 billion.
