Sanjay Verma joins AlixPartners' digital practice as managing director
Sanjay Verma, an experienced cloud solutions consultant, has joined AlixPartners’ digital practice as a managing director. He will be based in the management consultancy’s San Francisco office.
Verma brings deep expertise in digital transformation enabled by cloud and AI, with a focus on serving technology, media, and telecom (TMT) clients. He specializes in advising on cloud strategy for product development, organizational agility, supply chain operations and forecasting, and M&A.
Verma joins AlixPartners from PwC’s Strategy&, where he spent the last three years as senior partner and chief development officer. In the role, he drove the design and development of several PwC products and advised Silicon Valley firms on cloud transformation.
Before that, he spent five years as a partner at BCG, where he led the global cloud transformation practice and served as lead partner for three major high-tech accounts. Verma also previously spent over a year as a vice president at electronics manufacturing giant Flex, where he developed the firm’s cloud strategy and launched its scale-out cloud infrastructure solutions capability.Prior to that, Verma spent more than seven years at McKinsey & Company, where he was an associate principal and led the North American software development and lean IT practices.
Earlier in his career, Verma was chief architect at TimesTen (now part of Oracle), an in-memory, relational database management system.
He holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in computer science from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.
