North Highland names Alex Bombeck as next CEO
North Highland, an Atlanta-headquartered management consulting firm, has named Alex Bombeck as chief executive officer, effective January 1, 2022.
Bombeck, who joined the firm in 2014 as managing director and group president, will succeed Dan Reardon, who has led North Highland for the last two decades. Reardon will transition to the role of executive chair of the board.
Under Reardon’s leadership, North Highland grew from 25 people to more than 1,500 employees. The firm is also a part of Cordence Worldwide, a global network of 12 consulting firms with more than 5,100 consultants across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Bombeck has more than 20 years of experience leading digital innovation, relationship management, analytics, and digital and direct marketing for large organizations. He has deep expertise working with clients to transform organizational and operational processes to support new ways of working, enterprise agility, and collaborative cultures.
At North Highland, he has been responsible for the firm’s client-facing strategy and sales and demand generation activities, including go-to-market strategies.
Prior to joining North Highland, Bombeck spent 15 years at ad agency Havas Worldwide, where he was latterly chief digital officer, overseeing digital transformation consulting areas including customer experience, martech, data analytics, and organizational design.
He holds a BS in business administration from the University of Vermont.
