ClimeCo buys ESG consultancy Global Affairs Associates

ClimeCo, a Boyertown, PA-based environmental services firm, has acquired Global Affairs Associates, a Houston-based environmental, social, and governance (ESG) consulting firm.

Founded in 2013, Global Affairs supports energy firms and investor clients with ESG integration, climate and energy transition, and ESG reporting. The firm’s offerings span ESG policies and risk integration, climate risk and opportunities analysis, carbon target setting, strategic energy reporting plans, sustainability reports, and peer benchmarking.

Global Affairs’ clients include Marathon Oil, Service Corporation International, and American Investment Council. The consulting firm has more than 10 employees, according to LinkedIn.

Sixty percent of Fortune 500s have set goals to reduce emissions by 2030 and approximately 90% of S&P 500s now report on sustainability. On the investor side, ESG-qualified assets under management are projected to breach $53 trillion by 2025.

The firm has more than 40 employees across offices in Boyertown and State College, PA, as well as an international office in Calgary, Canada.
