AlixPartners adds Olga Gareeva as managing director in digital practice
Consulting firm AlixPartners has hired Olga Gareeva as a managing director in the firm’s digital practice in Dallas.
Gareeva brings more than 20 years of experience in management consulting and consumer products. She has particular depth of experience leading digital transformation projects for consumer and retail sector clients in the Americas.
Gareeva has overseen engagements in technology-enabled business transformation, cloud migration, technology roadmapping, data and analytics strategy, IT talent development, and merger integration. She has also led the technology function at large consumer products companies.
She joins AlixPartners from Deloitte, where she spent the last four years as a managing director in the retail and consumer products practice. Before that, Gareeva spent nearly five years at Bacardi, where she served as Americas chief information officer and global director of business intelligence and analytics. She also previously served as interim CIO at Constellation Brands.
Earlier in her career, Gareeva spent over 12 years at Accenture, where she was latterly a senior manager in the technology practice. She began her career at EY, where she was an IT risk consultant.
Gareeva has a master’s degree in accounting and management information systems from the University of Delaware and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Bashkir State University, Russia.

Gareeva’s hiring arrives shortly after AlixPartners bolstered its consumer products expertise with the addition of Chicago-based managing director Bernardo Silva.
