EverGlade Consulting opens Washington, DC office
EverGlade Consulting, a management consultancy focusing on federal contractors, has opened its second national office with a new location in Washington, DC.
The office is located at 700 K Street NW, in DC’s Chinatown area.
The Charleston, SC-headquartered firm said the DC office was a “logical next location for a physical presence.” EverGlade has already cut the ribbon on the office and is planning to recruit for roles in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, program management, project management, and government contract administration and compliance.
“EverGlade was named partly as an acknowledgment that we know how to navigate the swamp," said Eric Jia-Sobota, founder and national leader of the consulting practice. "It made sense to have an office location right in the heart of the swamp on K Street.”
Jia-Sobota founded EverGlade in 2020. He has two decades of professional services experience with a focus on government contracting and cost accounting standards. Jia-Sobota also has expertise in helping life sciences and non-profits obtain R&D funding.
Prior to starting his company, Sobota spent 12 years at BDO USA, where he was national leader for industry specialty services. Before that he spent five years at Beers & Cutler (now Baker Tilly) where he specialized in government contracting consulting.
EverGlade helps government contractors secure non-dilutive federal funding. The firm’s services span initial proposal support through to compliance with various regulatory frameworks.
EverGlade works with clients in life sciences, healthcare, non-profit, and construction. The firm has a dozen employees, according to LinkedIn.
The consultancy earlier this year welcomed Andrew Stiles as a principal.
