Blue.cloud launches engineering-as-a-service offering
Blue.cloud, a Tampa-based cloud transformation consultancy, has launched “BlueCloud Studio,” a software engineer-as-a-service (EaaS) offering.
The new offering will help clients design and build cloud-native software and technology products without in-house investment. BlueCloud Studio will provide instant access to experienced engineers that can build secure, scalable, and optimized solutions.
“There is a rising demand across industries to develop custom technology capabilities but executing them is time-consuming and expensive,” said Kerem Koca, CEO and co-founder of Blue.cloud. “BlueCloud Studio takes care of all the heavy lifting, allowing businesses to leverage our deep engineering expertise and top IT talent, making even their most lofty technology ambitions a reality.”
Other advantages of the EaaS offering include flexibility to scale team size and skill without onboarding; rapid deployment to meet time-to-market demands; full accountability of architecture and management oversight; and offshore delivery resources to manage costs.
“One of the most compelling elements of BlueCloud Studio is its borderless delivery model,” said Koray Ozcubukcu, COO at Blue.cloud. “IT services are still geographically segregated and siloed which drastically limit delivery success, however, our model allows us to quickly assemble global delivery teams with the best talent and deliver high-quality solutions to address the specific needs of our customers.”
With roots dating back to 2004, Blue.cloud has grown to more than 400 people across offices in Tampa, New York, Buffalo, Chicago, Turkey, and India. The cloud-focused IT services firm has practices in digital transformation, cloud operations, data engineering and analytics, AI services, and strategic management consulting.
Blue.cloud earlier this year received a majority equity investment from Hudson Hill Capital, valuing the firm at over $100 million.
The consultancy was also recently named one of Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Fast 50, coming in ninth place. Blue.cloud achieved 417.72% revenue growth from 2019 to 2021, increasing from $4.6 million to $23.84 million.
