Bain top-ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor's Best Places to Work list
Bain & Company was the top consulting firm on Glassdoor's list of 100 Best Places to Work, ranking #3 among large US companies.
The Boston-headquartered strategy firm is the only company to earn a number one ranking on five separate occasions, and the firm has consistently ranked in the top four since Glassdoor began the ranking in 2008. In addition, Bain & Company was #1 in Glassdoor's list of 100 Best Places to Work in the UK.
The annual Glassdoor ranking is based on reviews from employees who decided to provide feedback on their jobs, work environment, and key workplace attributes, including compensation, culture, and work-life balance.

Consultancies continued to account for a healthy portion of the top 100 large companies on Glassdoor’s ranking. The other Big Three strategy firms, McKinsey and BCG, were ranked fourth and seventh, respectively. Other ranked consultancies were Slalom (#12), Insperity (#28), OneDigital (#30), RSM (#38), Hewlett Packard Enterprise (#51), Avanade (#56), Deloitte (#58), EPAM Systems (#80), Booz Allen Hamilton (#82), Burns & McDonnell (#88), and Armanino (#91).
Consulting firms – which compete for in-demand MBA and tech graduates – must assemble attractive compensation packages and workplace experiences to compete with hiring rivals like Goldman Sachs and Google.
