Tom Lynch and Tim Bossidy, senior leaders at interim management and advisory firm SierraConstellation Partners (SCP), have founded cannabis consulting firm Emerald Peak Partners (EPP).

The new company will be an affiliate of SCP and the two founders will continue in their roles at the Los Angeles-based firm.

EPP will work with cannabis company boards, management, and stakeholders on balance sheet issues, corporate governance challenges, litigation, new regulation, and operational pain points. The firm’s fiduciary services practice will have offerings in independent director services; independent board services relating to restructuring, reorganization, and activism; and receivership services. The restructuring and operational improvement practice will provide interim management services; operational and performance optimization; financial guidance; and risk mitigation.

Lynch and Bossidy bring decades of experience in turnaround and restructuring, capital markets, and executive leadership.

“We are thrilled to announce the official launch of Emerald Peak Partners as a dedicated advisory firm for the cannabis space,” Lynch said. “Tim and I have developed a passion for this space over the years and saw the need for a firm that not only knows the unique challenges cannabis companies face but has the experience and tenacity to guide management teams and boards through challenging situations and help them emerge stronger on the other side.”
