SoftServe buys digital agency Hoverstate

SoftServe, a global IT consulting firm, has acquired Hoverstate, a Los-Angeles-based digital agency.

Founded in 2008, Hoverstate focuses on building mobile and web-based solutions for health insurance, pharmaceutical, and life sciences clients. The firm’s offerings span digital strategy, app development, DevOps, UX, ecommerce, data and AI, and robotic process automation.

Hoverstate has particular expertise working on the low-code Pega Platform from Pegasystems. The firm is a Pega Venture partner.

Hoverstate has over 100 employees, according to LinkedIn, and has offices in Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Torino, Italy.

SoftServe’s acquisition of Hoverstate will expand the firm’s capabilities in back-office process transformation on the Pega Platform. SoftServe is a Specialized Pega partner.

SoftServe was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Austin. The firm provides consulting across digital strategy, engineering, experience design, big data and analytics, internet of things, and cybersecurity, among other areas.

SoftServe has more than 12,000 employees across offices in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
