Korn Ferry appoints two new leaders

Korn Ferry, a global organizational consulting firm, has appointed Jeanne MacDonald as CEO for recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) and Mathias Herzog as head of the firm’s digital solution. MacDonald is based in the firm’s Los Angeles headquarters and Herzog is based in San Francisco.

As CEO for RPO, MacDonald will oversee the Los Angeles-headquartered consultancy’s RPO businesses, with global remit including go-to-market strategy, business development, solution design, technology architecture and services, talent advisory services, and service execution.

MacDonald has been at Korn Ferry since 1998, most recently serving as president for global RPO solutions. Before that she was general manager for North American RPO and project solutions as well as chief sales officer.

MacDonald was also previously business development director for North America and a senior recruiter.

Prior to Korn Ferry, she was director of sales for Southern California at AT&T and a sales and marketing manager at Fritz Companies (now UPS Supply Chain Solutions).

MacDonald has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

Herzog joined Korn Ferry earlier this year. As leader of the firm’s digital solution and president of the global technology, communications, media and professional services practice, he will oversee consultants focused on these industries across all business lines.

Herzog has more than 20 years of experience in management consulting and technology, and has held executive roles focusing on corporate strategy, business operations, and go-to-market/sales.

He previously spent two years at Automation Anywhere as SVP for global GTM, sales strategy, and operations. Before that, he spent two years at Salesforce, where he was SVP for global strategic planning and operations excellence.

Earlier in his career, Herzog was a partner at Strategy&, Oliver Wyman, and Infosys Consulting. He began his career at Deloitte Consulting, where he was a manager.

He has an MBA from Georgetown University and a bachelor's degree in international business from Reutlingen University, Germany.
