Bounteous adds two business development SVPs
Bounteous, a Chicago-headquartered digital marketing and transformation consultancy, has hired Mike Swartz and Ronak Desai as senior vice presidents in business development.
Swartz and Desai join the firm’s leadership team, where they will focus on growing the consumer and financial services verticals, respectively.
Based in Chicago, Swartz brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in growth strategy, marketing, and sales. He has deep expertise driving sales and revenue growth within professional services, agency, SaaS, client, and start-up environments.
Swartz joins Bounteous from Accenture Song, where he spent eight years and most recently served as managing director of client strategy and growth. Before that he was VP of marketing at Wiley and JCPenney.
Earlier in his career, Swartz was senior director of customer experience at Carlson Marketing Worldwide and director of strategy and client services at Atomic.
He has an MBA from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.Based in Boston, Desai has 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development – with a focus on professional services firms.
He joins Bounteous from Sutherland, where he was head of sales for the financial services industry. Before that, Desai spent a decade with Cognizant, where he was director of sales and business development and a client partner in the financial services industry.
Desai was also previously a director at CGI and VP of sales and marketing at The Boston Group.
He has an MBA from Clark University.

Founded in 2003, Bounteous provides services in digital and experience strategy, analytics strategy and implementation, experience design, ecommerce, digital campaigns and content, media management, and custom marketing and analytics training. The firm has approximately 1,700 employees across offices in the US, Canada, Mexico, and India.
Bounteous earlier this year hired Larry Hinz as chief financial officer.
