J.S. Held, a technical and forensic advisory firm, has promoted John Peiserich to EVP and head of the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practice.

Based in Little Rock, AR, Peiserich has 30+ years of experience in environmental law and regulatory compliance. In his new role, he will lead a team of experts providing services in environmental investigations, due diligence, impact assessment, and permitting, as well as in health and human safety, among other areas.

The EHS practice works with corporations, developers, owners, insurance firms, law firms, construction firms, and government clients.

"John believes a team approach is the best way to solve complex environmental issues and has developed and led teams focused on local, state, and federal regulatory requirements,” said Paul Banks, science and technology division leader. "He brings a unique perspective to the role because of his experience as a provider of EH&S consulting services, as an environmental services client, and as an environmental services manager for regulated industries.”

Peiserich also previously spent eight years at Perkins & Trotter, another oil and gas-focused law firm, where he was a partner. Earlier in his career, he worked as a project scientist at EnecoTech Environmental Consulting.

Peiserich has a JD from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Lyon College.

"I'm very excited to have the opportunity to work with the great team that my predecessor, Paul Banks, has assembled," Peiserich said.
