Oliver Wyman to acquire Veritas Total Solutions
Oliver Wyman, a global management consultancy, has agreed to acquire Veritas Total Solutions, a Houston-based energy sector consulting firm.
Founded in 2011, Veritas provides management consulting services to energy clients in the areas of upstream, midstream, and downstream, as well as supply and trading.
The firm provides services in commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) software, strategy and transformation, trading and risk advisory, digital technology, ESG advisory, and managed services.
Veritas has 45 employees listed on LinkedIn.
Oliver Wyman’s acquisition of Veritas will expand its capabilities in helping commodity trading businesses improve their operations through the latest insights and technologies.
“Our shared ‘people first’ approach attracted us to Veritas. Their entrepreneurialism, depth of expertise in commodity markets, and track record of delivering client impact make the firm a significant addition to our business,” said Mark Pellerin, global head of the energy and natural resources practice at Oliver Wyman.
Oliver Wyman, the management consulting arm of Marsh McLennan, earlier this year acquired SeaTec Consulting, an Atlanta-based provider of technical consulting to transportation, aerospace, and defense markets.
"Partnering with Oliver Wyman, we’ve seen the amazing transformations our teams can deliver for clients. Officially becoming an Oliver Wyman business will help us expand our footprint to deliver even greater impact for clients across the globe and provide more opportunities for our team members,” said August Al-Uqdah, partner and co-founder of Veritas.
Headquartered in New York, Oliver Wyman has 7,000+ professionals in more than 70 cities across 30 countries. The firm provides consulting services across strategy, operations, risk management, and organizational transformation.
