Cornerstone Research promotes seven to SVP, 15 to principal
Cornerstone Research, a San Francisco-headquartered economic and financial consulting firm, has promoted seven team members to senior vice president and 15 to principal.
The promotions span every major practice at the firm, including securities litigation, antitrust and competition, mergers and acquisitions, and data science.
The new senior vice presidents:
Eric Bickford is head of the New York office and co-head of the firm’s private equity and venture capital practice. He conducts financial and economic analysis in a range of commercial litigation matters.
Abe Chernin (Chicago) co-heads the fintech, blockchain, and cryptocurrency practice. He specializes in consumer finance, consumer class actions, fintech, and banking.
Sara Gilley (Chicago) co-heads the securities litigation practice and co-manages research related to SEC enforcement actions. She advises on federal and state class actions, corporate investigations, and government enforcement activity.
Kivanc Kirgiz (Washington, DC) specializes in antitrust, merger analysis, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, energy, and international trade matters.
Bob Majure (Washington, DC) co-heads the merger investigations practice. He focuses on analyzing competition and advocating for sound enforcement across numerous high-profile cases.
Jennifer McCabe (Washington, DC) analyzes financial and economic issues in civil litigation and regulatory enforcement matters.
Dina Older Aguilar (San Francisco) co-heads the healthcare practice. She specializes in economic analyses of class certification, liability, and damages, as well as M&A.
