Cornerstone Research names Bryan Ricchetti as chief executive officer
Cornerstone Research, a San Francisco-headquartered economic and financial consulting firm, has appointed Bryan Ricchetti, PhD, as chief executive officer.
Ricchetti assumes the role after a one-year leadership transition period, succeeding Rahul Guha, PhD, who led the firm since 2020. Guha, who has been with Cornerstone Research since 1996, will remain engaged with the firm as a senior advisor.
Ricchetti joined Cornerstone in 2007 as an associate. He most recently served as SVP and head of the economics practice, and before that was head of the antitrust and competition practice. Aside from leading consulting engagements, Ricchetti has overseen strategic initiatives in recruitment and mentoring, relationship management with clients and experts, and integration of data analytics.
Prior to his tenure with Cornerstone, Ricchetti was an economist at the US Census Bureau and an analyst at MDRC.
He has a doctorate in economics from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hamilton College.
“Cornerstone Research has earned its reputation by delivering exceptional work on the most complex regulatory and litigation matters,” said Ricchetti. “As we look ahead, we will continue to invest in outstanding talent, strengthen our network of academic experts, and advance the technologies, AI capabilities, and analytical methods that are reshaping the fields of law and economics.”
Founded in 1989, Cornerstone provides economic and financial analysis and expert testimony to law firms, corporations, and government agencies involved in complex litigation and regulatory proceedings.
The firm has more than 1,000 professionals across nine offices in the US, UK, and Europe.
