MTX Group launches venture investment arm for AI startups

MTX Group, a Frisco, TX-based IT consulting firm, has launched MTX Ventures, a strategic investment arm focusing on early and mid-stage firms in enterprise AI and cybersecurity.

The wholly owned subsidiary – also headquartered in Frisco – will provide capital, expertise, and market access to promising enterprise software firms that align with MTX’s technology roadmap and public sector expertise.

The fund will prioritize three areas: pure-play AI products that deliver improvements in enterprise efficiency, decision-making, and experience; technology enhanced by agentic AI; and cybersecurity innovations that strengthen trust and compliance in commercial and government AI adoption.

"MTX Ventures fuels the next generation of enterprise AI-native technology companies driving digital transformation and social impact," said Das Nobel, founder and CEO of MTX Group. "We’re investing in purpose-driven AI-native technology that makes a difference."

Aside from strategic smart capital, selected early and mid-stage firms will gain access to MTX’s network – including introductions with decision-makers in government agencies; co-selling and integration with MTX client projects to reduce sales cycles; operational mentorship from MTX leaders on scaling, compliance, and engagement; and access to MTX’s global cloud, engineering, and data science teams.

"We’re empowering founders to build the next generation of enterprise and public sector AI solutions—faster, smarter, and with greater impact. Together, we’ll transform ambitious ideas into scalable realities," said Nate Shilling, chief strategy officer of MTX Group.

MTX provides digital transformation and data modernization services to business and government clients, including more than 37 states. The firm’s practices include customer experience, systems implementation, cybersecurity, organizational change enablement, and AI blueprint strategy.

MTX has over 1,200 people across North America and Asia-Pacific.

The firm earlier this year acquired Stralto, a New York-based IT consulting firm focusing on public sector clients.
