J.S. Held buys project management firm GLI Advisors
J.S. Held, a Jericho, NY-based technical and forensic advisory firm, has acquired GLI Advisors, a Bend, OR-based construction project management consulting firm.
Founded in 2013 by Steve Galash, GLI provides services in project & program management support, owner’s representation, project & construction management, feasibility & cost review, and capital & physical needs assessment.
The boutique firm works with clients in owners, developers, lenders, and investors.
GLI has a team of eight professionals in Oregon and Hawaii.
“The acquisition of GLI Advisors further strengthens our Project Support Services team within Construction Advisory,” said Mark Cohen, head of J.S. Held’s global construction advisory services practice. “Under the leadership of Michael Collins, we are a market leader providing owner’s representation, project management, scheduling, and estimating services across the United States.”
J.S. Held earlier this year acquired MorrisAnderson, a Chicago-based boutique turnaround and restructuring firm.
The consultancy has 1,500+ people across five continents providing services in technical and scientific advisory, strategic advisory, digital and data, financial investigations, valuation, and risk.
“Our expertise perfectly aligns with that of our new colleagues from J.S. Held,” Galash said. “We understand both the client’s needs and the contractor’s approach, as well as the requirements of the project necessary to facilitate a delivery method that is cost-effective, efficient, and on time.”
