Armanino, a San Ramon, CA-based accounting and consulting firm, has acquired MSTiller (MST), an Atlanta-based accounting firm.

Founded in 1956, MST provides assurance, accounting, tax, and advisory services to mid-market companies, family-owned businesses, and private foundations in a range of industries.

The firm has approximately 110 people across four offices in Georgia and New York.

The acquisition will expand Armanino’s presence into Georgia.

“As client needs become more complex, it’s critical that firms have the depth, scale, and specialized expertise to keep pace. MST strengthens our ability to deliver our services with an incredible focus on client outcomes while deepening our presence in one of the fastest growing regions of the US,” said Matt Armanino, CEO of Armanino Advisory.

Armanino and MST are both independent member firms of the Moore Global network of accountancies.

“Armanino stood out because of its culture, foresight, and a trusted relationship built over decades,” said Angela Griner, managing partner of MST. “Our long history of working alongside Armanino through the Moore Global network, combined with their commitment to technology, AI, and modern service delivery, gave us confidence that we can better serve increasingly complex client needs while maintaining the core values of our firm that have defined us since our founding.”

Armanino in October 2024 received a minority investment from Further Global Capital Management.

The firm has approximately 2,500 people across 23 US offices, as well as international locations in Canada and India.

Armanino last year acquired Complete Business Solutions, a Boca Raton, FL-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) and technology consulting firm.
