MorganFranklin Cyber appoints Geoff Hauge and Chris Rose as managing directors

MorganFranklin Cyber, a Charlotte, NC-based cybersecurity consulting and managed services firm, has hired Geoff Hauge as a managing director and promoted Chris Rose to managing director.

Based in Boston, Geoff Hauge joins the firm’s financial services practice, where he will help expand the firm’s capabilities across banking, capital markets, payments, and fintech.

Hauge brings 20+ years of cybersecurity and information risk leadership experience, with expertise building service lines, leading cloud and cyber transformations for financial institutions, and driving strategy in regulated environments.

He previously spent five years with Edgile (acquired by Wipro in 2021), where he was a partner and financial services leader. Before that, he was a managing director at EY, chief information security officer at Santander, and division information security officer at Citizens Financial Group.

Earlier in his career, Hauge spent seven years at Deloitte, where he worked on risk management engagements.

“We are thrilled to welcome Geoff to MorganFranklin Cyber,” said Ferdinand Hamada, chief revenue officer and head of sectors at MorganFranklin Cyber. “His depth of experience across cybersecurity, regulatory transformation, and large‑scale modernization programs will accelerate the growth of our Financial Services practice and strengthen our ability to support clients facing increased cyber risk, regulatory pressure, and technology disruption.”

Based in New York, Chris Rose joined MorganFranklin in 2022 as a director and was in 2024 named a senior director in the firm’s architecture, engineering, and infrastructure/OT (Aegis) practice.

With over a decade of defense-oriented cybersecurity experience, Rose will continue to help clients develop secure architecture, enhance engineering rigor, and mature programs that strengthen security posture.

Before joining MorganFranklin, Rose spent nearly 10 years with Security Risk Advisors, where he was a director in the security strategy and threat management practice. Before that, he spent a year as a field engineer at American Reprographics Company.

“Chris’s promotion reflects the significant impact he has made on our firm and on the organizations we serve,” said Keith Hollender, CEO of MorganFranklin Cyber. “His ability to bring structure, clarity, and technical excellence to high stakes environments has accelerated our growth and strengthened our leadership in OT and security engineering. We look forward to the continued innovation and client value he will drive as Managing Director.”

Private equity firm MC Partners last year acquired MorganFranklin Cyber from Vaco (now Highspring), a Nashville-based HR and management consulting firm.

MorganFranklin has 150+ employees listed on LinkedIn and has 11 offices in the US, as well as international locations in Czechia and India. The firm has practices in architecture and engineering, cyber and operational resilience, cyber strategy, identity and access management, governance and compliance, and AI.
