Maine Pointe partners with blueclip

Maine Pointe, a Charlotte-headquartered supply chain and operations consulting firm, has entered a strategic partnership with blueclip, an AI platform for supply chain and warehouse operations.

Founded in 2021, blueclip provides an AI execution and data platform for supply chain operations. The blueclip platform provides a governed data layer that unifies operational data and makes it usable by AI systems, as well as execution intelligence derived from 1,800 supply chain improvement projects.

The partnership agreement follows an internal project from Maine Pointe, wherein the consultancy used the blueclip platform to stand up its knowledge layer in a matter of weeks. The consulting firm says that, in the functions where it redesigned core workflows, there have been productivity increases of 30% to 50%.

Together, the partners will help clients identify where AI can create value and implement it using legacy systems. Maine Pointe and blueclip will focus on supporting clients in manufacturing, distribution, food, cold chain, and logistics.

“A supply chain that monitors, corrects, and improves itself has been out of reach for most companies,” said Joseph Esteves, CEO of Maine Pointe. “Not for lack of ambition, but because fragmented data and manual improvement cycles made it impossible to sustain. AI removes that barrier. This partnership makes it operational.”

Maine Pointe will lead client engagements from opportunity assessment to implementation, utilizing blueclip as an operational foundation where appropriate.

Maine Pointe last month completed a management buyout from SGS, becoming an independent firm again after approximately seven years with the Swiss multinational testing and certification services company.

Maine Pointe has more than 130 employees across offices in the US, Ireland, and Singapore.
