Deloitte launches suite of digital healthcare products

Big Four firm Deloitte has announced the launch of ConvergeHealth Connect, a suite of products that allow healthcare institutions to better provide “consistent, high-touch, personalized” patient care. The suite is powered by Salesforce Health Cloud and will be offered via Deloitte Digital, the firm’s creative digital consultancy that works with clients to digitally transform.

"From tracking and sharing health data to accessing new channels of care, consumer engagement with healthcare is growing, and understanding the critical touchpoints of a patient's journey will be key to improving patient outcomes," Chris Zant, a principal at Deloitte Consulting, and life sciences and healthcare customer and marketing leader, said. "That's the approach we took with ConvergeHealth Connect. We built a common core framework for health care providers that enables them to identify and address patients' needs across the health care life cycle."

ConvergeHealth Connect will feature several managed packages. ConvergeHealth Patient Connect will offer support and personalized care for patients undergoing therapy or clinical trials. ConvergeHealth Connect for Public Health is a tool for governments and public health agencies that will allow them to effectively deliver “citizen-centric” healthcare via services such as proactive disease screening. ConvergeHealth Connect for Providers gives healthcare providers an easier way to manage patient data, while ConvergeHealth Connect for Payors assists health plans in attracting and serving members.

Biopharmaceutical company Amgen has already leveraged ConvergeHealth Patient Connect platform to create Pulse, a multichannel patient marketing and communications service that has so far been implemented in six countries. Pulse has allowed Amgen to increase therapy onboarding through lower-cost, more effective marketing campaigns, as well as to provide better care and improved health to patients.
