Kanerika, an Austin-based IT consulting firm, recently helped NorthGate, a Flint, MI-based supply chain services and packaging company, implement a data management and analytics framework.

Founded in 1984, NorthGate offers order fulfillment processing and reverse logistics services, as well as an array of third-party warehouse and distribution solutions. The firm has over 240 employees and works with companies in the upper Midwest.

Kanerika was brought in to help NorthGate unify its data infrastructure, which was fragmented across a number of systems, including MS Dynamics ERP, SQL Server, and Office 365.

Kanerika streamlined data sources into a single Microsoft Power BI platform, providing NorthGate with real-time dashboards to quickly make operational adjustments and drive better-informed decision making.
