Jamie Loder rejoins SGS Maine Pointe as managing director of private equity, Europe

Jamie Loder has rejoined SGS Maine Pointe, a supply chain and operations consulting firm, as managing director for the private equity sector in Europe.

Based in London, Loder brings two decades of experience in private equity across numerous sectors, including manufacturing, retail, consumer, and business services.

He has worked across the UK, Europe, and US to help clients create value in third-party cost base, supply chain, and manufacturing optimization.

Loder returns to his previous role at SGS Maine Pointe, where he served as managing director for the private equity practice in Europe between 2018 and 2021. Loder rejoins the firm from 4C Associates, where he was director for private equity.

Earlier in his career, he was a senior manager at accounting firm Dixon Wilson, and worked in the deals team at pension insurance company Paternoster (now Rothesay). Loder also worked in the political and trade credit risk department of JLT (now Marsh McLennan).

He has a bachelor’s degree from Newcastle University and is a qualified chartered accountant and fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Loder added, “I am very pleased to be re-joining SGS Maine Pointe to elevate its European PE practice… My immediate aim is to advance the European practice to the same level as the U.S. business in terms of size and reputation. To achieve this, my team and I will focus on sectors where our expertise is proven, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, packaging and consumer goods, and manufacturing.”
