Trivest Partners acquires restructuring consultancy Province
Trivest Partners, a Miami-headquartered, mid-market private equity firm, has made a strategic capital investment in Province, a Las Vegas-based restructuring and financial advisory firm.
Founded in 2008, Province works with institutional investors, debtors, creditors, and trustees on financial, operational, and legal challenges. The firm has offerings in creditor, investor, and corporate advisory, as well as performance improvement, trust and liquidation, and litigation services.
Province has worked on high-profile bankruptcy cases such as Purdue Pharma.
The firm is led by principals Peter Kravitz and Paul Huygens and has over 85 employees across offices in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Greenwich, CT.
The Trivest deal will help Province accelerate its growth plans and increase market share, the consultancy said in a press release.

The investment follows a period of growth for Province. The consultancy in the last five years significantly enhanced its debtor advisory and institutional investor practices, expanded its presence into Canada and the UK, and built expertise in additional markets such as commercial real estate and healthcare.
