SGS Maine Pointe adds Gina Rendar as head of commercial excellence
SGS Maine Pointe, a supply chain and operations consulting firm, has hired Gina Rendar as a managing director and head of commercial excellence.
Based in Orlando, Rendar will oversee the firm’s commercial functions, including business identification, account development, strategy, and sales and marketing initiatives. She will also focus on expanding market share in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors.
Rendar will join SGS Maine Pointe’s executive leadership team and will report directly to CEO Joseph Esteves.
She brings more than 30 years of experience as an executive and business transformation leader, with expertise in P&L management, corporate strategy, operations, procurement and supply chain strategies, and performance improvement.
Rendar previously spent eight years at supply chain consultancy Competitive Capabilities International, where she was SVP for global sales and business development. Before that, she was head of the global procurement center of excellence at US Steel and global VP for IT procurement at State Street.
Rendar also spent 11 years at Bayer, where she was global business director for the plastics division.
She has an MBA from Robert Morris University and a bachelor’s degree in global operations management and industrial science from Pennsylvania State University.
