Michael Bandemer joins HKA as head of digital forensics in Americas

Michael Bandemer has joined risk and disputes consultancy HKA as a partner and head of the digital forensics and data solutions practice in the Americas.
Bandemer brings more than 20 years of experience in forensic technology focusing on preservation, collection, analysis, and search of electronically stored information and forensic artifacts.
He has provided expert witness and consulting services to law firms and corporate clients for matters relating to computer forensics, investigations, e-discovery, data analytics, and data breaches, and has delivered expert testimony in depositions and trials as well as served as a court-appointed neutral computer forensics examiner.
He has extensive expertise on matters including misappropriation of trade secrets, asset tracing, altered documents, and fraud.

Bandemer joins HKA from BRG, where he spent the last decade and was a managing director and founder of the discovery and forensic technology services group. Before that, he was a managing director at Huron and head of the legal technology consulting practice at LECG.
Bandemer began his career at litigation consulting firm Peterson Consulting (now Guidehouse).
He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University.
