BRG adds Vijay Bondada as associate general counsel in business development

BRG, an Emeryville, CA-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Vijay Bondada as a managing director and associate general counsel in its business development group.

Based in New York, Bondada brings more than 20 years of senior legal leadership experience, leading large corporate legal teams at Consolidated Edison, Duke Energy, and Pfizer. He has extensive expertise in litigation management, crisis resolution, and regulatory compliance.

Bondada previously spent a year as VP for energy and environmental law at Consolidated Edison and seven years at Duke Energy, where he was chief litigation officer. Prior to that, he spent nine years with Pfizer, where he was assistant general counsel.

Earlier in his career, Bondada was counsel at Dickstein Shapiro and Skadden.

He has a juris doctor from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami.
