RGP promotes Elon Friedman to head of tax and treasury consulting
As part of its recent raft of consulting leadership appointments, RGP promoted Elon Friedman to head of its tax and treasury consulting practice.
Based in Detroit, Friedman will in his expanded role lead tax and treasury consulting services across income tax compliance and reporting, indirect tax, treasury operations, cash flow and liquidity planning, and balance sheet management.
“Tax and treasury decisions are interconnected,” said Friedman. “When aligned, they directly influence liquidity, capital strategy, and enterprise value. I look forward to continuing to build a practice that helps clients approach them holistically.”
Friedman has more that 20 years of tax and treasury experience, and has played a key role in building out RGP’s tax advisory services.
He joined RGP as part of its 2017 acquisition of Accretive Solutions, where he was national practice director for tax consulting. Earlier in his career, Friedman held roles in international tax at Dana Holding Corporation, EY, and PwC.
He has master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from Michigan State University and is a certified public accountant.
“Tax and treasury decisions influence everything from M&A outcomes to technology investments. Elon’s leadership strengthens our ability to help clients connect these functions to measurable enterprise value,” said Scott Rottmann, president of consulting services at RGP.
