Milliman appoints Jim Fulton as CEO
Milliman, a Seattle-headquartered actuarial and consulting firm, has appointed Jim Fulton as chief executive officer, effective October 2026.
Fulton, who has served as Milliman’s chief financial officer since 2015, succeeds Dermot Corry, who retires after completing a five-year term as CEO and a 44-year career.
“It has been an honor to serve as CEO of Milliman,” Corry said. “I couldn’t be more excited for Jim as he assumes the CEO role.”
Fulton has more than 30 years of experience in professional services and technology. Before joining Milliman, he was CFO of Emu Solutions and Data Realty. Prior to that, he spent nine years with Crowe as a partner and CFO and 12 years with PwC, where he was a senior manager in the assurance practice.
Fulton has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University and is a certified public accountant.
“Jim Fulton is the ideal leader as Milliman continues to grow and change in this complex and evolving environment,” said Bret Linton, chair. “Jim knows Milliman and has been integral in our growth over the last decade.”
Founded in 1947, Milliman has practices across risk, retirement and benefits, insurance, and health. The firm works with business, financial, government, union, education, and nonprofit organizations.
Milliman has more than 4,500 employees, according to LinkedIn.
