Google has announced the winners of its annual Cloud Partner Awards for excellence in delivery, client service, and innovation. More than a dozen partners including consultancies, system integrators, and resellers were lauded during Google’s Cloud Next Partner Summit in San Francisco, an event that showcased Google Cloud offerings spanning G Suite, GCP, Maps, Devices, and Education.

Google Cloud is a suite of cloud computing services that helps organizations – from small to large – with realizing their IT and business objectives. The suite provides modular cloud services for topics such as cloud-based working (G Suite), data storage, data analytics, hosting, and machine learning. The platform is supported by a range of experts firms that support Google with development and deploy their own Google-based products and services.

“Our partners are fundamental to providing a great product to customers, particularly as demand for Google Cloud innovations grows,” said Nina Harding, Global Channel Chief, Partner Strategy & Program at Google Cloud.

During Google’s annual Cloud Next Partner Summit in San Francisco, the technology giant unveiled the winners of its annual awards scheme. Among them were three consulting firms: Slalom Consulting, a management and technology consultancy; ROI Training, a learning & development (L&D) consultancy; and SADA Systems, a technology consultancy.

Slalom received the Google Cloud Global Breakthrough Partner of the Year award. The consulting firm, which has more than ten offices across the US, was recognized for the company’s achievements in outstanding customer service and support to extend the reach of the Google Cloud ecosystem. “Through Slalom’s expertise in cloud enablement, product engineering, DevOps, and data engineering, joint customers have been able to use the cloud to power transformation and innovation, respond faster to customer needs, and attract some of the best talent,” commented the jury of the awards.

Founded in 2002, ROI Training is a consultancy that specializes in designing, developing, and delivering customized technology and management training programs. The company received the Google Cloud Global Partner of the Year Award for Excellence in Training – testimony to the firm’s demonstrated track record in “empowering customers and partners of all sizes and industries to take advantage of the entire range of Google Cloud Platform technologies to achieve success in the cloud.”

“We are honored to receive this award and value our ongoing partnership with Google Cloud to drive innovation through training and certification,” said David Carey, CEO & Co-Founder of ROI Training, adding that the company to date has trained over 35,000 people globally in cloud and data engineering technologies.

A Google Cloud Premier Partner since 2013, SADA Systems received a Sales Partner of the Year award. “We are honored to once again be recognized by Google Cloud as a top partner,” said Tony Safoian, President and CEO of the firm. “We’ve invested significant resources in building our Google Cloud revenues [the arm grew over 300% last year] and are excited to continue this partnership.”
