Perficient, a St. Louis-based technology consulting firm, has entered into a partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association.

Under the terms of the agreement, Perficient will receive various marketing and corporate engagement benefits.

“It’s exciting to add a fast-growing, successful, and dynamic global consulting firm like Perficient to our partner family,” said Ryan Tanke, COO of the Minnesota Timberwolves. “Perficient’s already helping many of Minnesota’s largest and most recognizable brands to thrive in the digital era, and we’re looking forward to helping them gain additional awareness in our market and beyond.”

The Timberwolves joined the NBA in 1989 and have failed to make a championship finals appearance during their tenure in the league. The closest they got was in 2004, when the Kevin Garnett era team was eliminated in the Western Conference Finals. The Timberwolves qualified for the postseason the past two years but failed to exit the first round on both occasions.
